WELLNESS EXPO 2025
Stay tuned for more information about the 2025 Wellness Expo!
Our goal for this event is to create a space for wellness organizations to promote their resources and recruit new members. This event will function similarly to FestiFall with each organization having a table and some sort of fun activity for you to engage with, while also leaving space for you to learn more about each org and what they do. Come take care of your well-being and hang out with some cool orgs. Below is a list of each org, who they are, and a link to their social!
PULSE
PULSE as an organization functions through forums and trainings focused on issues relevant to our world and campus community. We are dedicated to understanding the intersection between wellness and identity, and promoting healthy behaviors and choices among our campus communities. In forums, we discuss topics that our eBoard and members feel actively pertain to our lives both on campus and off. In our trainings, we have learning experiences from guest speakers, professionals, and other campus organizations. The purpose of our forums and trainings is to have conversations to educate ourselves in order to be better equipped to have further conversations with the students in our community. We seek to elevate wellness across campus in an equitable manner through fostering a community of engaged and empowered members, and through events and campaigns within the campus community that are geared towards bolstering wellness at the University of Michigan. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, contact us for further information on how you can be involved with PULSE.

Mentality Magazine
Mentality Magazine is a publication on campus with the goal of destigmatizing mental health and providing a platform for members to share their experiences with mental health. We publish a print edition every semester and publish online pieces weekly.
Kindness in Numbers
KIN, or Kindness in Numbers, is a student org focused on destigmatizing and raising awareness about mental illness within the minority and immigrant communities. It was created out of the realization that intersectional identities result in disproportionate resources, understanding, and stigma of mental illnesses. We saw how the increased stigma within minority communities affected individuals in our own community, and we decided we would dedicate ourselves to cultivating a community of individuals who shared similar experiences. At KIN, we are dedicated to advocating for mental justice and bridging the gaps in mental health care for people of color. KIN strives to cultivate safe spaces to allow members to feel accepted and understood. We will do this by offering an array of events including intimate group sessions to drive impactful conversations on the things we often leave unsaid. We also use our website as another community, where our members can post blog posts, comment, communicate with each other. We share a lot of useful resources and information on our website as well, and we’d love to grow it further this year.
Generation Mental Health
Our mission is to build future leaders for the mental health and global mental health field out of members of the University of Michigan community through education and advocacy.

Dil Se is focused on supporting the South Asian community, but welcomes those of other intersecting identities, including but not limited to differing race, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, ability, etc. Dil Se also aims to develop ways in which the stigma of Mental Health, especially in South Asian communities, can be combated with emphasis on advocacy and giving voice to narratives that may not be heard due to it.

AFSPUM is the University of Michigan chapter of AFSP (American Foundation for Suicide Prevention). Our biggest event is our Out of the Darkness walk in April where community members and students alike come together to support one another, spread awareness for suicide prevention, and to celebrate a year of fundraising. Along with the walk and the several fundraising events that we host throughout the year, we also run programming events for student organizations on campus in order to better educate the community about suicide prevention.
