What We Do

PULSE has worked on campus to encourage wellness on the University of Michigan campus since the early 2000’s. As an organization, we hold weekly member meetings, put on events and campaigns around campus, and encourage collaboration with departments and other organizations on campus.

Our Mission

PULSE as an organization functions through forums and trainings focused on issues relevant to our world and campus community. We are dedicated to understanding the intersection between wellness and identity, and promoting healthy behaviors and choices among our campus communities. In forums, we discuss topics that our eBoard and members feel actively pertain to our lives both on campus and off. In our trainings, we have learning experiences from guest speakers, professionals, and other campus organizations. The purpose of our forums and trainings is to have conversations to educate ourselves in order to be better equipped to have further conversations with the students in our community. We seek to elevate wellness across campus in an equitable manner through fostering a community of engaged and empowered members, and through events and campaigns within the campus community that are geared towards bolstering wellness at the University of Michigan. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, contact us for further information on how you can be involved with PULSE.
